Only simpletons do not notice the signs which She produces at this end time. The earth is slowly dying while we rush ahead to virtual technological life! We have raped Her to such an extent that we are in fact on the verge of mass extinction.

Nature sustains all life, and yet she is not intrusive nor does she demand obeisance or worship. She gives life but demands nothing in return: until now that is.  We humans have become the first of her creatures that can not survive as a species by Natural means alone. We have evolved beyond our Natural state and now our technology is necessary to support our very existence.

Technology is not alive, technology does not have a free flow of blood to quicken it. In the capitalist system, it actuates only for money. This being the present reality, it seems imperative that Nature be allocated sufficient resources to cope with the Ecological disasters which our individualist system has caused. This is why Nature is concerned about money, because it is the only entity capable of coordinating Human activity on a Global scale.

I am afraid that recycling our trash is not a bold enough step. To talk about the major ecological problems we face without facing the root cause of most of them is illusory.  We must tame the money dragon and have it serve Life instead of itself. The common wisdom holds that if we were to have limitless money, we could do anything. True, if we had enough funds, we could launch a world wide campaign against the causes of Ecological harm and save the Earth.

Not to face the fact that the capitalist system is the root of our Ecological problems is to be naive. What is needed is a new money paradigm.  A system where Money serves Life, not a chaotic pursuit of money for ego dominance and self gratification.   The time for a new system is near.
